Stocks Take Another Beating
The
stock market continued to sink Tuesday even after the Federal Reserve
announced plans to buy massive amounts of corporate debt to encourage
lending. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 508
points to 9,447, leaving it 1,400 points lower since last Tuesday's
close.
