David Paterson Sworn In
David
Paterson was sworn in as New York's first black governor following
Eliot Spitzer's resignation amid a prostitution scandal. Paterson, who
is legally blind, is the state's 55th governor. He succeeds Spitzer,
who resigned at noon.
