NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The 247th consecutive St. Patrick's Day Parade is marching through New York City today. Click to Watch Live Video You can't walk 5 feet in midtown Manhattan without seeing or hearing bagpipes. The pipes were callin' on Monday in a sea of marchers, step dancers, men in kilts, smiles and, of course, green during New York City's St. Patrick's Day parade. The crowd was up to seven people deep in some places along the Fifth Avenue route. Amid the Irish music, bagpipes also were playing "God Bless America."
