Mega Millions Jackpot Swells to $95 Million
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing has grown to $95 million.
None of the tickets sold for Friday's $83 million drawing matched
all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The winning numbers were: 5,
8, 17, 19 and 41, and the Mega Ball number was 21.
Six second-prize winners matched the five lotto numbers to win
$250,000 each. Another 44 players each won $10,000 by matching four
numbers and the Mega Ball number.
One California player matched five numbers, and another eight players
matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. The
prize amounts in California are different than what prize winners in
the other Mega Ball participating states would receive.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held Tuesday night.
