Violent Night in Harlem
Eight
people were shot and wounded in three separate shootings in
Manhattan Monday night. A 20-year-old man was shot on Lenox Avenue and
130 st. at about 9:45, police said. About a half hour later, five
teenage boys and a teenage girl were shot somewhere in or around nearby
Marcus Garvey Park. A third victim was found shot on 131 st. and 8th
ave. All of the victims were expected to recover.
