HEALTH'S THE MAINE ISSUE

INJURED EL DUQUE COMPLICATES PITCHING PLANS
The Mets then said early last night that an MRI exam on El Duque revealed a right calf injury and said the pitcher would be evaluated again last night and that today the team will determine if he's going to take the mound.

"We hope that he's OK, that test or whatever they're going to do comes back OK and he's in good health," Carlos Delgado said before the MRI returned. "But if it doesn't happen, somebody's going to have to take the ball and give us a good effort. We're going to be all right."t-weight:bold;">
