designer Geoffrey Bradfield's black-tie birthday bash was held at the famous Bob Guccione townhouse on East 67th in an attempt to help increase buyer interest in the $5 million, 25-room manse. The surrealistic setting last week for the Australian designer, featured a cast of guests ranging from octogenarian dowagers dripping with jewels to naked muscle studs painted jet black and sprinkled with silver glitter. Writer Gregory Speck, a press agent for the original Studio 54, told the birthday boy that the towering nude turbaned models, who carried huge spears and stood at attention, reminded him of those decadent days, when the greatest nightclub of them all ruled Gotham.
